Development Academy of California offers a variety of programs per age group to help each player find the perfect team for their level of skill and ability.

Juniors Program ages 4-6 years old

Ages 3-8
Weekly training consisting of fun fundamental games, athletic awareness, grass-root exercises, small sided (3v3, 4v4) scrimmages bi-weekly. Once an age group has reached a certain level they begin in a local youth league for game experience. We will also be working with the MLS GO youth program to create a local league for the juniors age profile.
The Juniors train on Tuesday's and Thursday's 4-5:15 PM, and scrimmages every other Friday 4-5:15 PM.
DAC Juniors Program launches in 2025. The focus at this age is ball mastery, fostering a love for the game, instilling a baseline of discipline/routine, and fundamentals specific to the sport.
Younger Ages 6-8, Older Ages 9-11
Weekly training consisting of fun fundamental games, agility and footwork, athletic awareness, grass-root exercises, etc.
Keeper training is Tuesday's 4:30 - 5:30 PM for the "youngers", and 5:30 - 6:30 PM for the "olders."
Keeper clinics, camps, and Keeper Wars tournament coming soon!
It is our main focus that our keepers are just as comfortable with their hands as they are with their feet. The modern game for the keeper has evolved, so we want to make sure our keepers are getting the attention to detail they need to be able to shine on their teams.

The 2017 age group train on Tuesday's and Thursday's 4-5:30 PM.
This team is looking to add some top level players.
DAC plans to expand the boys age group to make it more competitive. The focus at this age is ball mastery, fostering a love for the game, instilling a baseline of discipline/routine, and fundamentals specific to the sport.
This is a new team being built for beginners in flight 3

DAC plans to expand the boys age group and launch the Girls 2017 age group in 2025. The focus at this age is ball mastery, fostering a love for the game, instilling a baseline of discipline/routine, and fundamentals specific to the sport.
This is a current flight 2 team and accepting top level players

DAC 2015's compete at a flight 2 level
The 2015 age group has competed in the 2014 age group for 2-3 seasons now. In 2025 they will be competing in their own age group. The age group is very talented and looking to add a few more experienced/committed players.
The 2015 age group train on Monday's and Wednesday's 4-5:30
DAC plans to refine the current boys age group as we have a great pool of talent. This age group will be jumping to the 9v9 player format in 2025.
DAC plans to launch a Girls 2015 age group in 2025.
The focus at this age is ball mastery, fostering a love for the game, and fundamentals specific to the sport.
DAC 2014 Flight 1 currently competes in the Pre-ECNL Flight 1 through an affiliate program with Eagles Soccer Club
This team competes in one of the most competitive leagues in the country, and have had some incredible achievements. Most notably, they were the 2024 Cal South State Cup Champions, and have been ranked as high as #18 in the State and #55 in the country.
They have started 2025 with a championship win at the Surf Challenge Cup Flight 1 level.
The 2014 F1 team trains on Tuesday's and Thursday's 5:30-7:00 PM
DAC plans to continue to refine this group and bring them to the top 25 in the State and top 50 in the Country. This team is the standard that we strive for all other teams within this program to follow.

This is a current flight 2 team
DAC B14 Flight 2 - I has had a history of winning league promotions in the CSL format and winning competitive tournaments since they first became a team. The families and players have created a very committed and competitive culture that has raised the level of the academy’s B14 age group and teams in the surrounding area. They have ranked as high as #96 in the state.
The 2014 Flight 2 I team trains on Monday's and Wednesday's 5:30-7:00 PM
DAC plans to continue to refine this group as they are an example for grassroots development that I would like all of my teams to follow.
The focus at this age is ball mastery, fostering a love for the game, and fundamentals specific to the sport. In addition, small physical and tactical elements of the game begin to be introduced. The team will be competing in the SoCal Flight 2 league in fall '25 as of now.
This is a current flight 2 team
DAC B14 Flight 2 II has remained as one of the most competitive teams in Ventura County since fall '21. This year they made it to the finals of state cup in ‘24 and won a treble of tournaments that year. Winning and growth is in the teams DNA and we will continue to foster this type of team/player development.

DAC B14 Flight 3 I has been around since 2021 fall. There has been consistent growth within this team and every year we are making new goals for the group.
The 2014 Flight 3 I team trains on Monday's and Wednesday's 4:00-5:30 PM

DAC B14 Flight 2 II has been a group since Spring 2022. This is a team reserved for players new to competitive soccer. Every year we have some great players develop from this team.
